Traveling with TT in Bay Area

We live near Sacramento and plan on travel to the Bay Area with our 38’ Grand Design travel trailer (11’6” high x 8’6” wide). We cannot seem to find a solid source of information for crossing bridges that gives you a clear YES you can or NO you can’t. We even called the CHP to get information and after being transferred 3 times we still did not feel confident we had the correct information. Can anyone direct us to a solid, comprehensive source? Btw we have a Garmin that will take us alternate routes, but it adds significant time to our trip.

You can cross all of the bridges. Recommend you get the FasTrak and use those lanes. If you are not sure then use the truck lanes.

GG north free. GG south no toll takers and you don't stop. FasTrak or pre or post pay. Take 19th Ave through SF, never 101.

Last time I visited, Golden Gate and Richmond-San Rafael were a “yes” and Oakland Bay was a “no.”
