I'll watch the commercials online. In addition to not watching the game, the Canadian channel I was watching doesn't show American commercials.

The half time show was very high energy but pretty skanky IMHO.

I watch the Super Bowl for the commercials (I say Doritos won with "Make Your Move") and the halftime show. While I admire anyone who can dance like the performers - I agree that it wasn't exactly the most family-friendly performance. Still beats Janet Jackson's, though ;-)
I didn't watch the halftime show (we ate desert) favorite commercial was the Weather Tech thanking the university of Wisconsin for saving their dog life from cancer. It was a great game no blowout. I was beginning to wonder 3rd quarter if the Chiefs would pull it off.

I watched some of the game and about 30 seconds of halftime. The game was good. I didn't really care who won, so I just enjoyed the action. After suffering through 30 seconds or so of halftime, I moved on to other things. I came back to it at the start of the 4th to watch the comeback.

We were lucky: turned on the TV and the half-time show had just started.

I was vaguely cheering for KC because a CDN MD was playing for them.

My wife won twice with 0-0 squares. I was cheering for a miss on the final extra point.

Did the playing field have any "Wardrobe Malfunctions?" or did the turf hold it's own?

I didn't see any loose turf or players having any type of traction issues.

I liked the old days when they had to play in the rain/mud..... and no show boating/dancing/taunting/etc like we see today.

Turf seemed to hold up well with only 20+ days to root and knit together. I agree with JIMNLIN....when the Niners posed in the end zone after and interception, I got kind of a bad feeling: Hope this does not come back to haunt us.
