I recently was at camping world and looking to have a Safe-T-Plus installed. The quote I was given was not out of line and there was the good sam discount on installation. However, the installation kit needed to be ordered. While the Safe-T-Plus was in stock the instaltion kit was not. Shipping was $30.00 on a $50.00 part. Is this normal? I can 't imagine that this is the way to do business? I'm stuck with this only because my coach is in connected dealers body shop for a few weeks and I don't want to have to bring somewhere else.

A part I did not go with was adding a fantastic fan. In addition to the discounted installation, there is an non-discounted $90.00 uninstall fee. Between that and the miscellaneous shop fees installation brought the cost up to almost $640.00.

I really need Marcus to explain this to me.

WOW Uninstall fee? Shipping charge? The explanation: more money for CW.
I think you got ripped off.

I wonder, were they Fed-Exing the part overnight?

That would be my first question also. If you asked for the part to be or accepted an "overnight" there's a charge. If you let it arrive whenever, the shipping should be free or nominal.

Uninstall fee? That's a new one to me.
I always thought taking out the old piece and replacing it with a new one was part of the repair.
