I'd go up thru Kingman and then thru Nevada and avoid California....might have to stay in truck stops along the way. KOA is supposed to be open but any campground warrants a call to ensure availability. Every State has issued a stay at home order and unless it's 'essential' I'd stay put until this passes. One must not only consider their own health but the health of anyone they might come in contact with. You may be a carrier and not yet know it. While I'm pretty healthy, at 76, I don't want it...Dennis

We came back up through Nevada couple weeks ago. Grocery stores were stripped. Fuel was readily available. Some of the fuel station mini-marts were closed, so had to use credit card on island. Had to run twice to get full tank.
Many vehicles on road. Many were our Canadian neighbors trying to get home.

Don't worry, the state troopers will be out as usual to keep you company. The big problem might be finding a place to stop for the night or an easily accessible grocery store, the restaurants are closed.

Not the right direction but, my wife just drove from Arizona to Michigan, and didn't have any major problems. Truck stops were open. Drive thru and carried her own food. Hotels, she called ahead and had no problem.

Truck stops are open and most that had food still have it to-go.

Last week drove from Vail, Az. to So. Calif.(Orange County) mostly on I 10. Very few private vehicles-mostly trucks and a lot of R.V's. Truck stops were all open-we stopped mostly at Pilot's truck stops-cheaper gas-and were able to buy bottled water, eggs, bread, etc. It was great driving-so much less traffic to deal with.

My son lives in Sac and there is no problem with highway travel other than restricted stores etc like many other areas.
However, WA is the second worst virus state in the country and it's significantly more locked down than any other state for your trip. I would check WA and then make haste up there if you're determined to go. Keep in mind that you could have a break down or other event and not be able to continue right away. Given that I'd take 60/40/58/5.

Right now, WA has a "stay at home" rule until May 4th. Our permanent residence is in WA, so we are planning on leaving AZ on the 1st of May and arriving home on the 4th or 5th.
The only place we will be stopping is at truck stops to refuel. We will have enough food in the RV so that we won't need to come in contact with anyone unless we choose to get take-out food at some point. I totally expect the May 4th date to be extended, but as of now, that is our plan.

People do not seem to understand the amount of public land in CA, NV and OR. There is no need to stop at a closed campground or truck stop. PUll over on public land, get a couple miles off the highway and sleep there.
