Long distance travel during the virus pandemic

Anyone traveled long distance recently in an RV? My wife and I need to get back home to Seattle, WA from South Florida in our truck camper. I know many(most?) campgrounds are closed but we are pretty self sufficient and willing to boondock every night. My concern is finding dump stations that are still open and finding potable water fill up places. Also some states have quarantine requirements for visitors, do you think this applies to someone who is just quickly passing through in an RV? Anyone have recent experience in these trying times? Any advice appreciated. Thank you and stay safe. -Mark.

Went into to 2 truck stops hoping to get grilled hot dogs. No luck! They shut that area down.

That's the best possible outcome. Don't eat roller food!

Just suck it up and drive through. 3 days if you drive all day. your tanks should last that long. stop for fuel and to eat (in the camper) and get it done.

In some states, like Ohio, state parks are open for day use, but closed to overnight camping. It seems like a solution might be to travel at night, and sleep in a state park parking lot for the day.

We just got back Sunday, from two months on the road. we left Friday from West Arizona, thru California, Oregon and Washington. we found numerous private RV parks open to stay at, along I5. no issues at all.

I'd head about anywhere if I had to go, but I'd carry plenty of food and snacks so I would only have to stop for gas and to sleep.

State parks are still open in Kansas. Gas in Wichita is now at $1.40 or less most places. Many drive thru windows are open too, but no go in and sit down dining anywhere in the state.

I see ZERO issue.

I could fill my 100 gallon fresh water tank then empty black 50g and grey 75g.

I would have zero issue making the trek without adding water or dumping if needed.

Rest Areas and Truck stops will be open along the way.

If you Google "RV dump" in whatever city you are thinking of being in...you will get the listings. I have learned tho, that many gas stations no longer offer this, so a phone call would be in order. In the 3 months we were out, over winter...Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Nevada and southern Utah? never had a problem finding a dump.
