Good morning. I'm new here, but have been reading for quite a while. Since we haven't bought a Class A since 2003, things have surely changed in the industry. My wife and I are starting our search for a quality Class A, gas, at least 32 feet, with W/D hookups, and (ideally) more than 1 bath. We had a Winnebago Journey and were very pleased with it. Now, we are considering something that's in the 2013-2018 range. I tend to be leaning towards Newmar, but certainly there are other similar quality coaches on the market, and I was hoping to draw on real-life experience from others prior to trying to zero-in on a few select brands. Thanks in advance for your help.

IMHO maintenance is the key here, condition is more important than brand. Have an experienced rv tech and medium duty truck mechanic go over it thoroughly before plunking the cash down.

More than one bath limits you severely.

Yes, I'm aware of that. That's why I mentioned 'ideally' --- sure, it would be nice to have more than one bathroom, but I know we need to be realistic as well, and try not to limit our choices too much. Thanks for your response.

2016 Ford gets you the newer six speed trans. I wouldn’t go any older if possible.
Fleetwood 35K is a 1.5 bath, W/D and couch across from tv and fireplace.
Holiday Rambler and Tiffin has the same layout.
All have resi fridges, etc.
The 16-18 Fleetwood’s had an XL package that gave you chrome mirrors and luggage latches, cord reel, king bed and led under lights (cool).

These will put you in the 36 to 38 foot range if you want the W/D and extra 1/2 bath. Newmar and Tiffin should both be considered.

Re the Ford V10 - I wouldn't hesitate to get the 5 speed transmission. It was a big improvement over the 4 speed. And, I would also suggest getting a 5 Star Tune if you purchase a 4 or 5 speed transmission rig.
As to quality gas motor-homes, my answer is Newmar, Tiffin, or Winnebago/Itasca. I have to say I'm really impressed by our 2012 Newmar. The overall insulation is very good...we've been very comfortable in some mid-teen temps with the propane furnace doing its job. Also, there's enough heat diverted to the fresh water bay to keep the water flowing. Because of their wall design and double pane windows (at least on ours), the interior is very quiet. Ours is just shy of 34' and I will tell you that in very hot temperatures, you need two AC units.
Good luck on your search! If I can answer any questions, just send me a PM.

The 35k is 36'3". Never assume model number represents exact length.
