Though I got mine and already spent most of it (Well. technically I paid down a credit card so I'm Growing it by not paying interest and the funds are still there if needed)

A friend of mine just got her's yesterday.. Both of use EFT'ed.

Why the delay???? Good question.

We received our direct deposit about 2 weeks ago. I received a letter yesterday from the white house telling me it's coming.

I have not (Personally) gotten any letter yet but I suspect it's in my mail box, about 1,000 miles (By Motorhome) from where I'm parked just now. [emoticon]

I did get the money however
Used some of it this week to fix issues with said Motor home. Slide out controller failed. I know what component is bad and will fix later but for now I have a 'Home brew" controller in there that works great.

New Dash HEVAC blower... Old one was vibrating, appears to have "Melted" and saged a bit... But the new one is ... heavier grade (Different maker) Who knows I want a metal blower. 4 screws and 2 wires so it is not that big a job.

As always, first thing this morning checked bank accounts. Normal "first of the month" activity, no "Stimulus Funds".
Oh, well, when (if) if happens, it happens. Until then I won't spend it.

Same here. Also: no state unemployment because we're business owners; and the paperwork required for a PPP loan reached the *ridiculous* point and we told our bank to forget it.

Fortunately, we're Baby Boomers. Way back in our teens, we were told "don't depend on the gov't for your retirement" and we heeded that advice. We'll muddle through this.

We received ours yesterday. $2400 was really nice to see. Straight to savings...

Question: there is just the one payment, correct?

Still nothing here, neighbor likewise. No hurry, we have nowhere to spend it.

News flash. Neighbor mentioned above just went online and it's marked to be mailed 5/8/2020. He is on SS with no other income and automatic deposit. So much for automatic payments at least in this case.

I was finally able to get the IRS my bank account info about a week ago. It took them about a week to get me a date for the stimulus payment. It should be in my bank account on May 6th, then transferred to savings [emoticon]
