Mine’s bumper mounted. Travel with the pole in the holder?

Sorry I had trouble doing a link but it’s the flag pole buddy 1.5 or 2.0 mounting brackets. Was wondering if it’s strong enough for a pole with a satellite dish mounted to it going down the road.

I have a collapsible 22' fiberglass pole mounted to the ladder and it comes down before travel. I doubt the mounts would be strong enuf for your purposes. I think of the wind forces acting on your satellite dish would harm it.

Don't even think of this.

I would never go down the road with it, but you could engineer something to still use that method. just put it up, take it down as needed. I use the flagpole buddy mounts for my cellphone booster donor antenna mounted to a few sections of old flagpole I no longer use. Works great.
As a side note, i no longer use flagpolebuddy flagpoles. The fiberglass sections are too weak, as in the pinholes enlarge, etc. I now use flagpole from uncommonflagpoles. Much beefier, mounts with a trailerhitch adapter, or under-the-tire mount, etc.

We had a Flag Pole Buddy, but gave up on it after the third time the pole broke with just a flag on it, so I wouldn't even try putting any type of Sat Dish on it while parked, yet alone going down the road.
