Omg, that will keep most of you at home. All my C friends have it. Without any improvement, this winter could be dire for So Cal RV parks.

In addition, currently the border is closed for non essential travelers. That may change but a number I have talked to are not waiting to find that it is still closed this fall and are planning a winter in Canada. Personally I’m still hoping I can go south. Have already paid for a month in Nevada and one in AZ....did that in Feb before the lockdown.

Oh no! What is going to happen to AZ without our Canadian friends next winter? Going to be kind of lonely. Hope things work out.

Just call me "racoon" because that's what I'll look like by this fall :-) I'm fine with social distancing and wearing a mask and toting hand sanitizer. I'm sorry for the Canadian Snowbirds if they have to stay north :-(

Maybe I'll do my part to help Southern Cal. I might decide to winter there this year if the Canadians stay home and the RV park rates are reasonable. Oh yeah; Texas 41, USC 38

Texas hill country. Jan to May. Just try and stop me. I can sit inside there as well as at home. No ice and no snow to slip amd fall on.

No vaccine....No medical insurance....no travel to USA. Have a winter home in Casa Grande, AZ and optimistically....2 yrs before I`m there again.

Yep. So far the insurance companies are keeping their cards close and no one knows what the situation will be in October. We are not counting on seeing our place in So Cal any time soon.

Europe is starting to take baby steps towards opening up though and Spain and Morroco have potential for a close to normal snowbird experience. With Brexit in full swing there will be some smokin deals for condos along the Andalucian coast. A few months split between Malaga area and Granada would be a great way to break up the winter.

I think we’ll all be waiting for answers until at least mid summer.

That is not the case. Medipac, for example, will still allow new travel coverage BUT will not cover Covid19 illness or illness/symptoms similiar to COVID.

This information is stated on their website.
