Elon has kind of confirmed by a one word response on Twitter that a new plant to be built in Austin Texas will produce both Cybertrucks and model Y’s. Official announcement still coming. Suggestions of first vehicles rolling off line as early as a year or so.

The citizens of Texas will quickly grow tired of Elon and his antics, and in particular his defiance of laws, rules, regulations etc.

OK, So this change alone could result in the AI going up by at least 15 Points.

Artificial Intelligence. Getting them out of Kali alone would increase them that much.

“We are told that the decision for the site is not set in stone since Tesla was apparently given a few options in the greater Austin area, but Musk is said to want to start construction extremely soon and aims to have Model Y vehicles coming out of the plant by the end of the year.“

Seven months to build a plant and get it up and running? That seems very aggressive. I have seen manufacturing facilities moved to another building and set up and running in a month. In those cases you are talking about existing infrastructure and capital. Maybe Elon has an assembly line sitting in a warehouse somewhere?!

The news I saw was that Tulsa and Austin are the 2 finalists in consideration for a new assembly plant.

Texas doesn't have the crazy laws that California has and Texas is very pro business and doesn't treat their business' like the enemy.

The Houston news media had a report last week that a Fort Bend judge and others are actively pursing Elon to move his headquarters to the Sugar Land area.

I read that this morning as well. Nothing cast in stone yet I guess.
