Shore power plug conversion?

I was wondering if anyone has converted their twist lock shore power connection to something more robust?

I don't really like the current default setup where the shore power cable screws into the side of the trailer and sticks out.

I used to have a Class A motorhome that had a built in shore power cable, and it could just hang out a hatch hole on the bottom of the compartment.

Has anyone done a conversion like this? If you have, could you please share pictures?

Oh, I'll get my money back, either from the vendor, Walmart or from the credit card company. Fraud is the term that comes to mind.

Bummer for sure. My buddy said he ordered and got surgical masks. I thought it was a joke. But someone here said the same.

Are you guys going to try and still get the cord somehow using a return or exchange type of program?

No, I have yet to receive my package. USPS tracking has it in route to from Texas.

Will find out if I have masks or cordset today. I agree the best option would be RV Plug to Smartplug direct, but really didn't want to drop a few Benjamins.

The goal is to seal up all possible openings that bugs and critters can sneak in and having a nondetachable cable that snakes into a cubby hole is no bueno. This summer (we live in Willamette Valley) I saw hornets walking up the electric cord.
