Almost six years old isn’t “pristine.” Six year old tires? Maintenance records complete? reviewed by you? Get a PRO inspection. You may need to keep lookin’.

There are a couple units advertised by dealers for the same price in the RV Trader with about 20,000 less miles.

Price sounds a bit high, but definitely do your due diligence.

When my wife and I bought our PleasureWay Class B, we looked at several other brands. We found the PW's quality, fit & finish to be superior to anything else, including the Roadtrek.

I've noticed there aren't near as many PW's for sale as there are RT's, but might be worth looking into, just for comparison.

Looked at it today and drove it. It is nearly perfect condition. It has new tire and 4 new batteries. We will have a mechanic look at it also. We really liked it and not sure what offer we will make. Tomorrow we are going to different dealers and look at what they have. Any more opinions are appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Roadtrek went bankrupt. Make sure that you have parts availability if needed. I did not look into what the current situation is in the US. Just do your due diligence.

Good luck,
MM.

Check out Hymer Aktiv owners and wannabees face book group. There is a unit for sale there for $63K with solar, lithium batteries and low miles. Plus I think there are a couple others for sale. Also my try Carado and Sunlight face book group they often have a few for sale. They were all part of the Roadtrek family. Aktiv group has a real strong group of people sharing all kinds of fixes for things such as electrical, heating, One guy even 3d prints part upgrades to sell tot he group.

Does this rig have the 3 or 4 seats upfront? If so, they might be included under a recall because they were never properly tested under US or CA law. Confirm whether this year is included. Checking the VIN probably shows this. And if it is, has it been remediated. Step one is the removal of the seat belts to get it removed from the recall. Once they are removed, there is a kit to fix it. It is very expensive and not covered by any warranty. (seats must be removed... everything underneath also removed... seats reattached to comply... everything underneath put back on. I believe that the cost was something like $2000 per seat)

Parts availability shouldn't be an issue since the new Roadtrek, Inc. plans to continue to make this model.

Price a new one Class B. first. Some dealers discount close to 30% on new cash
Roaedtreck. servicnow????

At that price I'd negotiate for a new Class B

I doubt that you will get 30% on a new Roadtrek or Pleasureway. They are not like Winnebago or Thor. There were big discounts during RT's bankruptcy, because they were pricing in the lack of warranty... but thus far not on the new ones.
