He's haulin more than that, unless that AF camper is gutted. More like 4klbs for the shortbed models and the no slide model.
Bag's will hold it up for sure. Having a heavy tongue trailer with a ball coupler helps stability/body roll. It very likely handles better with the heavy trailer on back than no trailer.

Tell part of the trucks actual load carrying ability. AS others have said a pickup truck carries just about all payload over the trucks rear axle (6100 rawr) which will be around 3000 lbs in most cases. A RAWR is the lessor of the tires/wheels/rear axle assy/rear spring pack. Todays pickups generally the wheels or rear spring pack is the weak link. Years ago it was OEM 16" LT235/85-16 E at 3042 lbs capacity as the suspension weak link.

Another player in the payload arena for the F250 is if it has the heavy service package option. This package upgrades suspension to the same as the F350 SRW trucks.
The F250 won't have any issues carrying a 2155 lb wet weight truck camper you mentioned.

Makes me wonder if it has a snow plow pkg.
Or is a 5400 lb front and a 6100 lb common on a Ford with a 10k GVW?

From the "CJ" code I'm fairly certain mine is 3.55 limited slip.

I think I need more truck. I'm looking at a Lance 825 with a Wet Weight w/Std. equipment of 2155 lbs. Still, I understand I need to weigh the truck.

10,000lb means you have a F350 single rear wheel no?

No it's a F250. SRW.

As mentioned, GVW= 10,000.

That's the maximum your truck should weigh going down the road. That would do it for me.

That sticker indicates that in the 18 years you've been a member of this forum you haven't read or retained ANY of the 10,000s of "gvw", "axle capacity", "tire rating", "what will me truck haul", "how much can I carry" threads.
