“Aquarius says with the new engine their generator weighs only 100 kilograms (220 pounds),”

I can lift that!

A lot of lower cost compressors do not require oil changes. It might be on that type of platform?

Read the article! I'd call it a 1 stroke engine. Definitely intriguing possibilities with this

Could this tech supply energy to recharge a battery electric vehicle?

I have doubts this will be lower cost than solar + battery.
I only see portability as the advantage.

I went to the company's website, ( which is what all should do ), and that is exactly their intentions. They just signed a deal with Honda!

The biggest problem with a generator from Israel is that after 8 days you have to cut the plug off.

This new engine is not designed to power a vehicle drivetrain like a rotary internal combustion engine. By its unique nature it is ideal to power a generator circuit.....and quite efficiently, too. Since electric vehicles use around 100VDC circuits/motors, one could not put enough solar panels on a car to be useful. This engine, given its small size and weight, should easily far exceed the generator capacity any solar system could do.....and it works whether sun shines or not.....running on any fossil fuel.
