The NFL has finally lost me for good. Started being selective a couple of years ago, but I have had enough. Off the soapbox, flame retardant suit on..

Not political at all. I quit Atlanta a while back when they forced the City/State into a deal to build the new stadium with the moving top. Traffic in downtown makes it extremely difficult to get to and worse, the price of the tickets made it almost impossible to see a game.
I can still watch a game on TV but who wants to see that bunch get beat!
Think my money, time and energies will go to college games from now on.

It is all about making money.
The same as every other pro sport.

Think how long it takes to play a football game on TV now vs. years ago -Advertising, advertising, and more advertising

We quit watching the NFL and NBA some time ago as it became about identity and race.
Wife use to be a stand up an screaming fan for the Braves but since Turner sold them and the got rid of the Indian they are like watching a cake fall. I'm part Native American and was not offended. And at the CNO no one else was offended that I came across.
I watch Fishing shows and some hunting shows like the hunting of coyotes, and feral hogs. Starting to turn away from some fishing shows as they are all about this magic lure or their expertise on everything and talk you to death shows instead of fishing. Bill Dance is still on sometimes on Saltwater fishing but the ole boy has gotten fat and lazy and old like me. Somebody call his wife and tell her to cut down on the cooking and make him run a mile and bring back the great stuff.

Those reality shows - fishing, hunting, troopers, etc. might be worth if so many were not like soaps, and so predictable and staged.

We miss MLB baseball, but not the NFL nor NBA. Might get more into college games if it ever gets back on track.

we couldn't care less about the NFL or NBA...both seem to be majority populated with soon-to-be-felons. i was never a pro hockey or college sports fan but i do miss MLB and my Cubs. but i fear that the league and players are doing their best to shoot themselves in the foot. the most recent shenanigans by the commish may be the final nail in the proverbial coffin. my guess is that there will be no baseball this year.

Agree.
Stopped watching the NFL years ago. I now spend my Sundays hiking, fishing, bike riding, reading, et al. Much happier.

NFL. can not possibly lose me. For you can not lose what you never had.
(not a sports fan).

I agree with you and I have added Nascar to the list as well.
