Yeah, if the hit had been in the door the out come would not have been as good.

Well the deal is done for the new 2020 Edge ST with the 2.7L Eco-boost. Most of the bells and whistles. No sun roof, which is great as we did not want one. This was a service dept loaner with 1500 miles on it.
List Price $44,520, we paid 35K + tax and license. Guess I will have to turn all my text to Blue!!!!

That sounds like a good discount. I hope that you enjoy it!

I own two vehicles with sunroofs and have been surprised at how little we use them. I probably will not pay extra for a sunroof again. Due to the extra weight and potential repair costs it may even be a negative.

Everything I've read about the 2.7EB engine made me wish I had test driven it more, but I got the V8!
Actually, most on the F150 forum that have the 2.7EB rave on it for power vs. mileage. Only ones disappointed with it are the ones with maximum options that kill the payload capacity.
Lots of positive Utube videos about it, too.

We are really enjoying the new Edge ST. It is a fun car to drive. Now one down side. The Ford Sync system and dash cluster in not even close to what is in our 2015 RAM with the 8.4 uconnect in center stack and the 7 EVIC cluster. Ford needs to rent FCA products and make their design engineers drive them until they figure out how far off the mark their Sync system really is, and fix it! Example, when in Maps from smart phone on the center stack display to do something with audio you have to push buttons multiple times to exit maps and then select audio.

Just about everything else is getting high marks. The ST "Sports Tuned" chassis is great and the 2.7L twin turbo Eco-boost is amazing.

Wife drives a '15 Edge Sport, just hit 60K miles zero problem. Only replacements have been tires, the Hankooks wear rather quickly, but with the AWD they work very well in snow. One of the best cars we have owned.
