We are returning to our place in Florida in December as always. We are just as safe there as we are at home. Our fiver is already there. (It lives there)

We are returning at the end of October. We are in a small park and can quarantine if needed in the Class A. The warm weather is better than snow in Michigan. We have a site and it is reserved and paid.

We have our reservations confirmed for this Winter and will be going because we no longer have a working heat system in the home base, so no staying in Western New York in the Winter.

Illinois has more than twice the confirmed Covid cases per 100,000 residents and a death rate more than triple that of Florida. Maybe going south from Illinois is the safe move.

lol.... Good point!

We will probably end up going even if we can’t do much. Better to be warm than cold in Illinois.

Starting to think it will be a no go for Canadians. Even if the border gets opened there may be a travel advisory in effect which negates the possibility of getting a travel insurance policy. Numbers of new cases and deaths in the US are on the way up and many we have talked to are seriously concerned about the political and societal tension. The wait and see attitude seems pretty popular right now. For us we are considering a few months in southern Spain if things don’t change. Time will tell.

We'll be going back to the Texas Hill Country as usual. The incidence of Covid in our area down there is about the same as here in Iowa. We figured we might as well be warmer while we're getting through this thing.

We expect to head out for southern GA and FL from upstate NY right after the winter holidays as usual. Our state park reservations are all in place, with just a couple of national park reservations to be made as soon as the 6 month reservation windows open. If a COVID-19 resurgence around then causes us to change our plans, we'll only lose $100 or so in cancellation fees if they're not waived.

I asked the boss, she says without a vaccine or treatment, we are staying home. Sucks, I looked forward to retirement traveling during my entire working life.
