Goot Afternoon all;
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bout the 10th of June our printer quit excepting commands from this computer. DW's computer continued to talk with the printer for about another week, then it just quit. I went into her computer and was able to restore it back to the the 14th of June, just before the update), then about a week later it quit talking with the printer again (after another update). They both quit after a stupid Windows 10 update. From all the research I'm done it is said that an Adobe Flasher Player update adds something that screws up the connection between computer & printer. Now neither computer will let me restore back to before June 14 so I uninstalled everything to do with Adobe Flash Player & it has not worked. When we try to print it says it's spooling then says it's printing but nuttin happens. I can still scan & send from the printer to both computers but not from the computers to the printer to print.
Anybody have any thoughts or ideas on how we can fix this problem short of dumping 10 and reinstalling it from scratch hoping to get rid of whatever windows installed in that update and then having to reinstall every other program we use.

Thanks
Milo

Un-install printer, then reboot computer if you have done so.
Make and model of printer?
Go to manufacturer's website and install latest Win 10 drivers

Delete and reinstall all printer software which will hopefully help. Release 2004 if that is what you have has issues including printer issues.

If you don't have a image backup then that would be a good future plan as you can reinstall to a earlier working image. I also have the pro version which allows for additional update delay and hence available fixes.

MS forced updates can cause issues and 2004 seems to have to many. Hopefully someone that is deeper into the issues can help.

Thanks...Printer is a Brothers MFC-J615W.
I've done all that. Uninstalled printer, rebooted computer, & reinstalled it with the disk that came with the printer & installed & updated all the latest drivers. Nada!

A friend's computer would not print using edge browser. He finally switched to Chrome and it prints fine now.

Good Luck ! After I switched to Windows 10 my old printer work MOST OF THE TIME. The wife's old Windows 7 computer worked flawlessly. Microsoft said "It's a hardware problem." HP said, "Too old, not supported."

After a month of beating my head against the wall, I bought a new printer. Refurb on Woot.

I may have missed it, but did you mention how the computers are connected to the printer? WiFi, Router, or some such?

One of the updates dropped my printer as default, even though it was indicated as such. Make sure your printer is where program is sending it rather then to the cloud. Took a couple times to get it back to defaulting to my printer.
