Just bought a new travel trailer and needing to replace the horrible mattress in the bedroom - it is a Short Queen RV mattress. Having to order online which I hate so wanting to know what others think about their mattress and what you recommend. Thank you so much!!

No need to replace it; just put a good memory foam pad on top. Works great.

Holds my 240 pounds up just fine.....no sagging. My wife has never complained about it. Well over 100 nights on it.

Hot topic for me as well. Any suggestions on a short queen foam topper? Our queen is the 74" type. I had a memory foam topper on our last camper and liked it but would prefer this one be much firmer. Do they make firm toppers in a short queen?

Here's what we bought and still love it. It comes 80" long and you can cut it down to 74"(or whatever length you prefer) with a serrated knife. We left ours about 76" for comfort.

We tried a topper but it wasn't enough. We eventually bought a 10” memory foam mattress in short queen. I think it was Zinus or Lucid, purchased it thru Walmart. Came rolled up in a box. I love sleeping on that mattress.

I've said this many times so here it goes again. Every new camper I've purchased I've left the mattress at the dealership. Go out and purchase one that's comfortable and if a 80" will fit I would go with that.

We replaced our stock mattress with a Serena Sleep 8 inch memory foam. Excellent choice! Couldn’t be happier. Short queen runs about $330 on eBay.

We put a topper on our standard mattress but it didn’t do the trick. Bought an 8” Zinus through Amazon. Greatest addition to our TT we ever made. Just be sure to take the mattress still in the box into your TT and then open it on your bed or you’ll play heck trying to get it into your TT bedroom.
