2005 Fleetwood Excursion Rear AC not working

need some help, rear ac stopped working, some smoke and a bad smell came thru the vents. Looked at the unit on the roof, capacitors were a little melted. Ordered new capacitors and now when the unit turns on the fan starts blowing and then a hear a quick buzz noise from the compressor but it does not start. I believe the compressor went bad, does anyone know if the compressor can be replaced or are these sealed units? The actual model is Coleman AirXL Cub w/airpump 9001c879
Thanks

It may be a fan capacitor or compressor capacitor which you may have smelled and this can be fixed.

They can be if you can find a compressor. I don't think they sell them separate.

These are throw away units. Unless you can do the work yourself it is better to replace the entire unit.
