I had to decide so an hour ago I gave the go ahead with a single shaft build. Built by a driveline shop that says they have built a good number of them and had no problems. They guarantee their work. Heavy walled tube. Searching the Internet I find many proponents and many negative about this. I’ll let you know how this works out. Had a '91 GMC 2500 ext cab, LB, 4x4, 454 and it had a shudder upon take off. Ended up that GM re-located the driveshafts so angle of things was better. Cured the shudder. Friend has a 2020 with one. Will install mine tonight.
