Has anyone used this product or similar while towing behind their rig? White plastic like seen on new cars being transported to the dealership.

Okay, I used some carpet film from Loweโ€™s to tow my new boat home, 740 miles from Oregon and it worked flawlessly. No rock chips!

Someone even said the floor/carpet protection film is the same thing. Iโ€™m driving to Oregon to get a new boat and want to protect the bow paint for the ride home. I will get a bra made when I get it home.

We used 3M "Clearmask" on my buddy's 66 Suburban front end. Really good stuff but hard to work with. As with all 3M products it's also very expensive.

My dad, back in the day made a shield from sheet metal when he went to Ak on the Alcan hwy. That also worked great when grape to golf ball size rocks were trying to hit the trailer.
