Thinking about going to the Florida panhandle heading west to Louisiana Grand Isle SP the end on October/early November. That is, if Marco and/or Laura (hurricanes/storms) leave things in tact. We'd be leaving Fort Pickens, FL and having a night over at either Fairview-Riverside State Park or Tickfaw State Park.
A 26' motor home, using 30amp electric, water not needed, but dump facilities would be nice.
Which of those two do you prefer & why? Or is there a better park near there? Been to Fontainebleau State Park and rather not repeat. Don't want the New Orleans scene or city sights.
thanks

Just remember. There's gators and water moccassins in that part of the US and they tend to get displaced by bad storms. Watch yourselves and your pets. A gator can outrun a dog.

When we lived in that area we liked Fairview-Riverside. 50 Amp and water and WI-FI. Has a few with sewer but they are reserved for handicap. Several good restaurantshttps://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurants-g40293-Madisonville_Louisiana.html and you are close to lake Ponchartrain
