Hi, I listed both my camper and fifth wheel 2 weeks ago, both sold within a week for asking price. Got more calls than I could handle on both of them. The downside is it took me a while to locate and buy my new camper.

What goes around, comes around [emoticon].

I started looking for the replacement on my cl c two weeks before listing and sold the first day advertised.

We'll, we will see about how good the sellers market is today, I just put up my camper for sale on CL.

Wish me luck?

Hi, although I did list both of mine on CL I hardly got any calls. It was RV trader that had my phone blowing up.

Thanks for the info.

Was it easy to set up a RV Trader account and download pics?. I seem to remember it was much harder to get going than CL.

You might want to try FaceBook Market Place.

Hi, it was very easy. I did it all off of my phone.

You were right it was pretty simple to set up, pictures easily transferred to the ap.

So far (4 days) I have received a few calls mostly scammers. Their pretty easy to spot, most of them start off by saying their deployed military and they would have a "representative" pick the camper up. Payment would be made via PayPal.

Kinda ironic , there are quite a few posts on forums bad mouthing dealers for trying to get the highest dollar for their RVs , but here it is OK for individuals to try for the highest dollar . We all , dealers and private sellers are looking out for our own best interest . Just an observation .

I am in the same situation as the OP. I've been dithering about selling a 30+K vehicle privately, dealing with the payment issue. I'm going to start calling dealers today.

Considering driving two days down to PPL too.

Thoughts?

Today we dropped our Sunseeker off at PPL Cleburne. We had other business in the area to do on our way out to our winter place in Arizona. So it made sense. I hope. [emoticon]

They said small C’s are in short supply and selling well, Big fivers and motorhomes not so much.
