It is likely that Canada will not reopen the border. It is also quite possible it will not reopen for about 6 months. Not good news. Latest polls show most Canadians do not want it to reopen

With the way so many people of the US seem determined to ignore the covid recommendations and warnings, no surprise they do not want us crossing the border. I wouldn't either.

If that is the case; does that mean that the snow birds from Canada won't be able to leave ?
If yes there are going to be a lot of unhappy people from Ontario.
I think half the owners in our park in Key largo are from Ontario

You are watching too much news !
They love to pick out someone or a group with no masks on and show it while they completely disregard the thousands who are obeying the recommendations.
Just this morning while my wife was in the supermarket and I waited in the car, I watched the ones going into the store with masks on and out of about 35 people only one did not have a mask.

Canadian Snowbirds can leave...by air only. The US will not allow Canadians to cross the US border right now. Part of a reciprocal agreement between both countries to limit the spread. This has large support among the Canadian population.

I don’t know. I watched footage of a key US political figures rally yesterday and there was mostly unmasked people attending.
Just sayin.

Well, I guess that will keep traffic down here in southern AZ. It also means I'll be watering my winter neighbors' palm trees all year.
