Nice pictures, indeed. There is a silver lining to having to stay on ones own side of the border. Yellowstone NP had an all-time record number of visitors for a September.

Yes/no..if you Google Map, then Goldpan Campsite, BC. There..only I was about 1/4ks further east. There is a break in the concrete shoulder? If one were going there...you have to set yourself up for the turn thru. No traffic in either direction.

Well it just stopped Snowing... went over Kootenay pass today ( back and forth)... much better now that the road is wet. 4 inches of fresh white stuff this morning.
Take Kootenay Lake Ferry.... a nicer ride any ways.
