Crack on outer wall of 2014 Lance 992

A ladder fell over and hit our Lance and created a crack about 3-4 inches long. What should I use to repair/fill the crack? Just caulk or should I use some special cement?

Give us bigger picture where it is located.
Ladder might be coincidence, or last straw, but I bet my lunch it is stress-related crack.
You should investigate and reinforce the frame before patching the crack.
Just for crack covering - house siding caulk is good.

Looks like a stress crack to me as well. Where exactly is it located? In the corner of a slideout cutout?
If it is indeed a stress crack, just filling/covering it will be a band-aid fix only.
The reason behind it may or may not be harmless.
For now, I would probably drill a stop hole at the end and cover it with sealant. Then, keep an eye on it to check if it opens up again or moves.

Could be a stress crack. A ladder was on the camper and then the jacks were lowered. Heard a crash and saw the ladder go down.

Discovered the crack days later.
