About 15 years ago I bought a new boat and trailer. The Carlisle tires DISINTEGHRATED within less than 1 year.
I vowed to never buy another Carlisle tire again !

Twenty years and 80,000 miles towing with a combination of both brands with one flat and I don't recall the brand of the nail. Carlyle tires are on a lot of trailers.

Don't go below load range D and you'll be fine. Imo

I have the Carlisle trail hd tires on my Arctic Fox and they have performed perfectly for the last three seasons and still look like new! I would buy them again in a heartbeat, great tire at a great price! They are also load range E. Good luck on your decision.Bill

I put Carlisle's on my 12K TT. I had concerns because they didn't have that much tread depth when new. But 3 years later and about 10K miles and they look brand new. I really like them and the way they wear.

I thought the Carlisle HD 15" had the new tread cap that improved them significantly?
I still like the Maxxis 8008 and the GY Endurance.

Yes they did, at the same time that Goodyear made the piece of **** Marathon that had major blowouts too. Need to get with the times. The Carlisle HD has not had any issues reported that I have seen. I used them on my last trailer and a good tire.

I put the Carlisle Trail HDs on my tt a few years back. I've towed the tt to Alaska and back with no issues. I did move up to load range D from the stock C, but will buy again when I need tires.

Both tires are the latest from their mfg. The old Marathons or Carlisle Radial Trail both had major reliability issues for many folks. Thats old history.
The Carlisle HD came out in the late '16s.
The Goodyear Endurance came out in Jan/'17.
Both are enjoying a huge jump in reliability vs their predecessors.
With tires don't confuse reliability with their cost.
Some of our best load C/D/E/G tires for service trailers are made in china/other foreign countries.
