Freezer seal is leaking and unable to get new freezer seal what type of material would be best to create a stronger seal dyi style on existing seal so I get a better seal?
( left out make and model on purpose)

I would take the old seals to an appliance parts outlet (the type that caters to appliance repair techs, etc.) and see if they can match it with something from bulk stock.

Don't know how it would work on a freezer.
The little cooler that I used in the Pete I put Vaseline around the top of box, and form-a-gasket around the lid. Closed it tight, left it to dry. Silicone stuck to lid, had to trim some for looks. Cleaned the grease off, cooler worked better.

Clean seals thoroughly
Place cotton balls under each corner
Warm seal thoroughly using hair dryer
When the complete seal is warm....close freezer door and let seals 'reset'
After seal has cooled remove cotton balls and check for leakage
Is it time for your medication or mine?
