It always amazes me how hard it is to get news, as to how other countries are doing with the virus. Its like our news networks are afraid or embarrassed to report anything from other countries on the subject.
Could be they don't want you to know how badly other countries are handling it. That would hurt the narrative they want to maintain.

As far as travel this year we have cruised the gulf states, been in all states west of the Mississippi other than OR,WA,ND,MN. Just about 8,000 mi. 30+ campgrounds. In many of the CG's we never saw management all handled by phone and many other were self pay. We're in AZ right now but plan on heading East in a a week or so. Haven't found a full campground since mid September in Billings Montana. My fault for not calling earlier in the day.

We usually pick and choose days here and there exploring future home possibilities before we land for 5 weeks, but this year we may be staying in Walmarts! All of the state parks are booked solid.

Taking a break this year. Will re evaluate next year. Haven't spent a winter at home for eight years and am kind of looking forward to it for a change.

We arrived at our winter sport in the Coastal Bend of Texas a little over a week ago. We have a spot all to ourselves, so no immediate contact with others. No different than back home. We just use the normal amount of caution when going to the store(s) and everything is fine. We've waited many years to finally get to do this, so here we are. Be safe everyone!!

My wife and I have to fly to Puerto Vallarta beofre mid Feb to renew our resident papers. It can only be done in Mexico. Fortunateley we do have 4 N99 masks left over from when my wife had to fly while on chemo 3 years ago. They are not available right now so we are lucky to have them. Along with face shields we feel reasonably safe getting on a plane. It's a case if renting a car at the aIrport, doing what we have to do, and getting back out of there ASAP.

I would recommend gloves as well - if not latex then there are soft cotton gloves like those used to handle photo negatives, etc.
Also, bring Clorox wipes to use on car door handles and all touch surfaces - use in the airplane as well (seat belt, etc.) - don't forget to wipe the key fob for the car. Each of you keep a bottle of hand sanitizer in your pockets and use it frequently.
You can't prevent someone from sneezing or coughing directly on you - so social distance when ever possible. It's "doable".

There are now 3 companies transporting your rv to the usa while you fly. One is out of Blaine, another in Quebec and one in Ontario. All are fully booked. As it gets colder more transporters will appear. I make no comment as to whether this is right, wrong or dangerous.

I saw a news program about that. The reporter said a Canadian transport company moves the Canadian RV across the border into the USA near Plattsburg NY and parks it. The Canadian owner flies from Canada into Plattsburg on a puddle jumper plane, clears Customs, then goes to their RV, takes care of business there, then gets in their RV and takes off to wherever they want to go. The reporter said it cost about $1,600 to move the RV across the border. All perfectly legal.
