Seriously, Tom Sawyer is a great, well run park.

Just make sure you study a recent satellite photo/ map of the approaches to the I-40 or I-55 bridges and check both the Arkansas and the Tennessee highway departments web sites for current construction information.

^^That's the truth. I somehow got on the wrong road after crossing the river. It worked out OK though.
If you look on Google satellite, you can see it flooded.

Have stayed there a couple of times. Nice level pads and right on the Missippipi River

I've stayed at the Tom Sawyer RV park several times over the years. It's nice, has full hook-ups.

The laundry rooms are probably 15 ft. up in the air because of the Spring flooding that seems to come every year. That whole park will be under 10 ft. plus of water for 6-8 weeks. But, they clean it all out and start over every year!

Safe travels,
MM.

Yep, full hook ups. Just be sure to check the river condition before you make final plans. Thom Sawyer is INSIDE the levy, so when the river is up, it floods. We've been there a number of times and will go back any time it's a convenient stop.

It's a pretty decent park. We stayed there a few years ago.
There's a similar RV park in Vidalia Louisiana, across from Natchez..Riverview RV Park. Vidalia would make a good overnight on the way to West Memphis.

We stayed there in July for an overnight stay. Itโ€™s very convenient to I-40 but far enough to be very quiet. Our site was long and level with great views of the river. Thereโ€™s plenty of open, mowed area if you have a dog to walk. . Watching the river is very interesting. Really, nothing negative to say. Donโ€™t worry when driving in through the industrial area. The park is secluded and guarded.

We love Tom Sawyer! Last month we stayed there 4 days without disconnecting the Jeep. We just relaxed and watched the tugs and barges go by.

On the river and very quiet, we like to watch the barges. We haven't been there in a few years but we will go again soon.

I hear good reports. โ€œThe endless river traffic of the Mississippi is the main attraction at Tom Sawyerโ€™s.โ€ Sounds fabulous.
