Still hot in South Texas. Should Reflectix Insulation be applied to the inside or outside of the windows to keep the heat out?

It'd be more effective to keep the sunlight from ever reaching the glass, so outside would be better. However, keeping it outside has lots of issues- how do you keep it there, wind, theft, damage from "stuff" being outside.
Most I believe will just put it inside for ease of use, and it does pretty well there even if it's not "The Best" from a thermal aspect.

TomG2, we put ours inside the window. Between the glass and blind here in Arizona. It sure would work better outside but like another poster stated, that creates a multitude of problems. Just removed ours yesterday since it cooled off here.

Maybe inside and out? Just kidding, thanks for the comments.
