Super steer radius rod

Have been in contact with Henderson in Oregon about handling issues on our Winnebago Vista. They are recommending installtion of a radius rod on the front springs to limit forward and backward movement. Has any one done this upgrade? Does it work? I spoke with the truck shop that does all our work and they were non committal on how well it worked. Hederson has apparantly done a fair amount of testing on this.

Here's little video of how much the front springs move.

I have looked at them and like your shop, I feel the same. The only way I see they might help is to have all four of your Leaf Spring Shackle Bushing worn out. They can be replaced for around $10 each. A far cry from the $500 for the rod. I could have misread what they do. I have replace my bushing some years back and did notice maybe a slight improvement. I just install some front and rear airbags and adjust the front end and air pressure and it did the trick for me on a 99 F53. Tracks and very little wind tail movement. Good luck
