Hi guys! So, new to me Sahara has the main slideout stuck open and it won't close. I took the cylinder out to move it, but I have no idea how to troubleshoot it. Anybody knows where is the pump? Normal failure modes? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

So hydraulic, rather than Power Gear Electric. Can't help much, this being the case, but do wish to follow towards a solution, where others should be able to help you.

Yeah. See, first time with hydraulic. The others I can take them apart like those wiz kids with the Rubik’s cubes. This sucker I can’t even find the pump! The hoses go into the frame and is all enclosed...

To call customer service. Safari went under in 2001, Monaco picked it up and they went under. Nobody to call...

I hesitate to go on any forum and recommend another one. But, it is probably warranted in this case.

OK, so, it used the same pump as the 3 jacks, but somebody added an on-line fuse that was not documented. Reattached the cylinder (which was a PAIN), and the slideout started working.
Also, the solenoids were on the other side of the pump. On one side you had the jacks, while on the other side you had the slide out. If you didn't know any better, it could have been 2 different pumps.
The fuse was a 5 amp and fed the solenoid that activated the pump.
Slide works like a charm. Thanks.
