Just a heads up, 411 is a 2 lane road and some might say it's narrow. I would pull my 37 ft. trailer on it but some might be a bit uncomfortable. Tennessee is not known for having shoulders on their roads. Once you hit 441 its good wide 4 lane most of the way but no issues with it.

If you want an alternative, suggest 321 to Maryville then 411 to 441 into Pigeon Forge. The worse section of this route will be 411 which is a pretty straight and flat single lane road. Everything else will be dual lane.

I like the looks of that route...thanks

No issues until you reach the part others here have mentioned. Out of Townsend the is a hill with some turns. They have a good apron and are wide and do able. It's about 4 miles worth. The rest into PF is good. If you are pulling a trailer bigger than a POD UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, DO NOT go into the park. 321 is a left turn to stay on it. Going straight will take you into the park. Little River Gorge road is a pretty drive just don't tow your trailer on it, it wont accommodate a large combo or motor home.

We didn't like the part coming out of Townsend. Don't get a wheel off or you will be sorry.

From Maryville to Townsend it is a wonderful dual lane road for the most part. Just before Townsend area there are about 2 - 3 miles that is single lane still with a few decent curves (35mph) but not that bad.

Coming out of Townsend, you enter a steep grade with multiple tightish curves. This is the worse section but doable if you don't mind typical single lane mountain roads. Once in Wear Valley it straightens back out for a few miles. Then it gets a bit curvey and hills again the last few miles into Pigeon Forge.

Haven't driven from Lenoir City to Maryville but should be a decent dual lane road the entire way.

If you want an alternative, suggest 321 to Maryville then 411 to 441 into Pigeon Forge. The worse section of this route will be 411 which is a pretty straight and flat single lane road. Everything else will be dual lane.
