Has anyone replaced their carpet with peel and stick vinyl plank? Would like to know some real life experiences. Also what brand product did you use. I am concerned that with the wide temperature variation in an RV that this vinyl plank will not stick.
Please give me enough troubles, uncertainty, problems, obstacles and STRESS so that I do not become arrogant, proud, and smug in my own abilities, and enough blessings and good times that I realize that someone else is in charge of my life.

I would do a floating floor. Snap lock planks. They don’t move around once all together. And no sticky.

We used peel and stick tiles in our pop-up and it as been to south Florida (from the NC mountains) three times and they still look perfect

I used the trafficmaster allure from Homedepot. It came out really good. After a while some planks separated about 1/8 inch. Also the slide has damaged some planks. It can all be repaired and remedied. Overall I am still happy with it.

DON’T do it!!!
Use LVT and glue it. Pro’s advice.

Yes worked well with one exception and lasted a full year before disaster struck (and that had nothing to do with that part of the RV so it would have lasted much longer had not been for the WQ#[email protected]#$R#@ Sem9 hitting my bedroom).
I Planked the main slide out. Now the only issue was the "Joint" where the slide out met the non-sliding part. I used carpet runner to cover the joint.
But I liked the way it looked .
Home is where I park it.

We did peel and stick in the garage of our toyhauler because we didn't care for the look of the rubber flooring. Turned out pretty darned good. We got ours from Lumber Liquidators. ![[image]](https://i.imgur.com/VdNw5HZ.jpg)

I have no experience in this area but why do you recommend against? Does the peel and stick start lifting the first time the floor freezes in winter or something?

I'm not sure of the brand but, I bought it at Home Depot. Did my hunting fifth wheel 8 years ago and it is going strong. No separation or lifting and it gets hot and humid in the summer and around zero at times in the winter. I'm very pleased. Also used it in a Keystone Outback and during the 3 years we had it it held up well. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
