Not every station gives the discount, has to be one in their system. Got an email on it a week or so back. Current best price is T/A. Where did you fuel? Did a quick addition and have saved about $800 so far this year and will likely be $1000 before years end, this being a bad travel year or it would be way more.

Oregon is terrible that way. I pay $17 per year just to paddle my kayak. I need a "water access permit".

It's getting to the point, where they are going to start an OOU tax...Oregon Oxygen Use Tax. Guess I shouldn't say that too loud, you never know who's listening.

CA Traveler wrote: Thanks for the heads up but please provide more detail. Are you saying that the TSD listed fuel price in OR does not include the 36 cents?
Correct... The lady at TSD says it is in their contract under the “ State Guidelines “
It was not listed on the app
Does the station display price include that tax? Since we're usually on the coast and With very few TA TSD stations in OR, not sure I've ever used TSD there.
Station display price was 2. 75
Went to Petro in Phoenix ... Price listed on the app was 2.13
When I got the settlement statement, it came out to 2.50 per gal so I called
AZ has a 8 cent tax on trucks which you don't pay with the TSD card. Otherwise you have to tell them you're a RV so you don't pay.
Correct. Have to do that with our Flying J card in Az, but Smith’s, with our points is much cheaper, or Costco/ Sams in Az

Thanks, I almost always buy fuel at Fred Myers or 3 Feathers in OR.
And Frys with their points in AZ for us. Frys has a 35 gallon limit. And we love those gift cards like HD etc especially when they have double fuel points. Like I'm going to HD anyway and there are a variety of great gift cards for the family.
For all of my fuel purchases except TSD I get a 5% monthly cash rebate on the CC which is why I don't use the GS FJ card.

Not related to fuel but I am charged a "rain water run off fee" and a Flush tax (because I have septic). How's that for a tax?

We use Fred Meyer usually to bring fuel down at least a dollar for 35g.
35 x 2 at a buck off. Nice. Makes fuel affordable in Oregon ![smile [emoticon]](https://forums.goodsamclub.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/smile.gif)
We buy a lot of Amazon and I tunes at 4 x points.
This was just a convenience stop on the way South, but a little frustrating.
Still saved .25 so, better than no discount.
Just a learning experience to share with others
Stay safe out there everyone
Wishing all a wonderful Winter and Happy Holiday season

Taxes/fees are higher in OR as expected in a state with no sales tax which likely explains the fuel tax. I'd certainly expect/want to see the fuel tax reflected by TSD.
So thanks to the OP for the update.

Just checked the app and it shows best price in OR is still T/A at 2.08 a gallon. They add tax on that price?
