I am thinking of ordering and installing a slide topper on my RV. My side measures flange to flange at 7'6" (or 93"). When I go on Solera's site I see the closest topper sizes at 8' (or 96") or
8'6" (or 102"). Would either of these sizes work or would I have to do a special order?
Thanks

I installed Colorado toppers and ideally, the topper should measure the same but can't imagine a little overhang being of much harm.
My wife helped and ended up breaking a finger nail when the whole contraption unsprung but we succeeded.

A bit of overhang on the wall ends is good!! Sides of slide and windows can stay drier and cleaner. I would probably go with the 8 ft, but either would be ok. Wouldn't go longer, understood that you didn't ask about longer sizes.

Yes, Just cut to size.
Preferably two strong guys with two ladders to unroll the old topper, and pin the roller so it does not retract.
I did the unrolling by myself, and it was tough, and marginally unsafe. Beware of the old topper being slimy and slippery while you are unrolling.
Once I had it unrolled and pinned, my wife helped me guide the new topper into place.
But it was still tough to unpin and release just by myself.
This is the method I used:

I installed mine. If your measurements are 93" flange to flange, go with 8 ft. Will be perfect.
If I remember, on the e-trailer website, they recommend a slight overhang.
Take your time and with an assistant you'll do just fine.

We installed two slide toppers on our 2005 Copper Canyon I actually did the shorter 6’ bedroom slide myself. I had DW help with the 13’ super slide.
We ordered from MakariosRV.com, they have great measuring instructions and great coustomer support. I bought Dometic slide toppers
And are very happy with them.

I went with 6" longer than slide.
Installation tip, pull the truck tight against the side of the trailer, and work out of the bed of the truck

I would love slide toppers, but what does everyone do in the winds? We get horrible winds where we camp.

I installed one myself Here's a video of the project
For your RV, the 8' should be fine.
