Has anyone heard of any Rv parks in the Rio Grande Valley that has had an outbreak of the virus. We are headed that way and we’re wondering how safe it is.

Have you looked at the Covid 19 numbers for Kentucky? Your Governor Beshear is reporting nine percent positivity. https://www.wymt.com/2020/11/28/gov-beshear-releases-new-covid-19-cases-in-kentucky-positivity-rate-nearing-9/

I like being safe I hope you are safe, safe is good, safe is better than sorry.
Maybe when the vaccine arrives and a lot of people take it it will be safer than safe.
Sorry, be safe.

My wife works with COVID patients every day. GDS-3950BH is right. There is nowhere that is safe. Check the the State and local health department websites carefully. Assume that everyone around you is infected and act accordingly. I will refrain from comment on his other opinions.

Does the waiver absolve the RV park from everything under the sun?

The RGV is taking more precautions than other parts of the country. Some restaurants are drive through or curbside pick up only some have in house dining with spacing. One Wal store has no cashiers only self check out.
We have been here three weeks and haven't been aware of any hot spots yet in the Valley.

Three weeks? That’s not scientific. For instance those infected without symptoms. Those sick but untested. The untrained eye sees...little.

Hidalgo County Texas has been a hot spot for months. It includes cities like Pharr, McAllen, and Mission. This 400 site park in the middle of the RGV has had three cases reported. Only one died. The locals in the Flea market call it a hoax. Forty percent of the park residents agree. Bring on the vaccine.

Yes, I know of cases in several parks, not a lot but several. Some people quite seriously ill. The Valley has some pretty strict restrictions and recommendations. Unfortunately some ignore them.
