Judging from info gleaned from RVIA, would it be a good assumption that new class a diesel motorhomes haven't experienced the sales frenzy of gas motorhomes?

Would it be a good time to upgrade from a gas motorhome to a diesel?

Just wondering what others see.

I think you'll get more qualified responses in Class A.

We sold our small C about 60 days ago at PPL Motorhomes, the biggest consignment dealer in the US. They told me that small units were selling super fast but big rigs were very slow.

And if As are selling slowly, Snowman, time to drive a hard bargain.

I think Class As are selling too. We traded up from a 37' gasser to a 40' diesel pusher last March, and I think we just beat the rush. Since then, our dealer who deals almost exclusively in Class As can't seem to keep new units in stock.

Our dealership has sold out of Diesels. We have just 1 or 2 NEW left. Used are selling fast. Our Motorhome makers cannot supply us with Stock units. Almost all ordered all sold. Doug

PS, I am AMAZED that with the Covid economy, that RV sales are so HIGH.

Drove by earlier today by a dealer catering to snowbirds. The dealer always had a very good selection of new and used Class As, including diesels. The lot is now full of trailers, with only a few small mohos.

Class A diesels are selling like crazy. Local dealers are selling before they hit the lot.

Traded up from a 34 gasser to a pre-owned 39 diesel pusher this past October. Salesman said they sell as soon as they hit the lot.
