Be as well informed on current market pricing if you are at the purchasing stage, a deal can be had no matter the time of year, state of economy, or national/global crisis we might be enduring. Since MSRP varies widely, knowing the high and low range across the region helps to identify quickly if a dealer is just jerking your chain, saves the hassle and aggravation.

Better deals are everywhere if you are willing to travel, we drove nearly 1K miles to get our current rig. We all want to think we made the ultimate killer deal, rest assured the dealer made it's margin, and then some if falling for any of their upselling tactics. After always buying new, we decide to go with a lightly used Class A, 16K miles and $20K below market.

I just checked the site where I bought my coach and a new one like it is advertised at 25% off but I suspect that it varies by brand and model.

Before covid a msrp of 186 was sold for 100.

They wont sell for a loss.
Establish the price.FIRST. push as best you can without feeling guilty.

THEN THEY WILL WANT TO FINANCE THRU THEIR FINANCE COMPANY TO GET THEIR PERCENTAGE.

IT IS BEST IF POSSIBLE TO SELL YOUR TRADE IN TO A PRIVATE BUYER AND HOLD THE MONEY FROM THE SALE FOR YOUR DOWN PAYMENT.

Sorry for the caps... typing on a phone....didnt mean to yell.
