Im trying to wire a generator to dash switch but I need the wiring guide for an Onan 1986 6500 Emerald Plus. I have 4 wires.

I also am trying to figure out what the second fuel line is for. 1 line goes to fuel tank, but whats the second do and where does it go to?

Should have only one line for a gasoline unit.

Correct. Where does that 2nd line attach too on the Genset? Can you post a Pic of that 2nd line? The Onan GASOLINE Fuel pump is a very small PSI pump and will shut down or idle when excess fuel is not needed. There should be NO 2nd line or return line. Doug

When you look at the Link supplied, remember, the Start and Stop is a GROUND (negative) circuit. The B+ (positive) wire is for the ON indicator light in the switch and also goes to any Hour meter.
