I also use google maps....whatever area I'm stopping in, or my destination, I search "rv parks", or "campgrounds", etc.
From there, I click on them, read reviews, and usually can go to street view and see sites, the campsites, etc. (not always).
Yes, my google maps method is more manual, but I feel I get a good sense of the park, area, reviews, restaurants, things to see, etc.
Just my 2 cents

If you're taking a long trip, RV Trip Wizard is totally worth the price. I used it for planning & tracking an 11,000 mile trip and it was worth every penny.

I prefer uscampgrounds. Gives you some good links, but have to watch their coordinates.
Our 2351D Phoenix Cruiser, Jack, has turned us from campers into RVers and loving it!

Just go to the top of this page where it says RV Parks. It's free and it works. Better yet, get the app on your phone for a 'map view'.
