Suspends all flights to Mexico and Caribbean and all travelers and returnees to Canada will have to quarantine at a hotel for 3 days at their own expense and take a mandatory covid test at their own expense with cost of more than 2000.00 Canadian $.

Hmmm and to think here in New York State where Covid cases and Deaths are very high, the Governor just lifted all restrictions except for a few spots in and around New York City.

Looks like Canadians can still fly to the U.S. and other foreign places except the Carrib and Mexico? Wonder how long that will last? What about Costa Rica?

I guess the factual answer to your question on how many came from out of country travel is "All of them."

They addressed that in the first sentence -- the new restrictions are meant to protect Canada from new variants:
