I am a new owner of a 2017 Thor Freedom Elite 29FE Ford Chassis. I am having issues with my mirrors falling down while driving on the freeway. I called the manufacturer from Thor and Ford. They were no help I have Velvac mirrors. They are manual adjustable. I see the allen key thats on the side where you screw it in to the extension. How do you get inside the mirror to tighten or adjust? Is there clip that you pop off? Not sure how to post a picture for you to see it. Any Help would be great.
Thank you Phil

This issue happened on our passenger side mirror about a year ago. It turned out to be a couple of loose mounting screws in the remote adjustment assembly inside the mirror. To access you need to carefully remove the mirror glass by prying back the four black plastic tabs that hold them in place in the edges.
For further info go to www.velvac.com/resources. They have various support documents for the mirrors they produce.

On a Velvac mirror, there is a adjustment at the end of the arm,use a screwdriver to unscrew the cap, under it you will see inside the opening a hex screw I think a 3/8. turn it to tighten the mirror head.
