IF you have a WD hitch installed, should it be adjusted with the fully loaded trailer on the hitch, or does that matter.

I've always done mine with the trailer loaded ready to camp. But, we don't pack too much stuff anyway.

If you do it any other way it will not really be adjusted.

Thought that, but not had one myself before. We drive a TC, only tow cargo trailer. But daughter has a heavy trailer and dips RE a lot when trailer on the ball. So, will probably do super-springs and WD hitch.
She just bought a new Ford 250 ... I just want her and hubby to be safe.

If it's not adjusted with the loaded trailer hitched up then it's not adjusted.

Yes,adjust it fully loaded.
I actually adjusted mine with 60 gals of fresh water, simply because that's how I leave the house.
Safe towing.

Adjust fully loaded ready to camp...full fresh water too. Who cares about unloaded?

Depends on the brand. With an Equal-i-zer, you set it up (adjusting for proper height and stuff) while unhooked, and if you measured correctly there is no need to adjust anything when you hook up.
