I'm not sure what type connector to get. Can someone Please Help. Some Fleetwood pushers have it in the center of the coach with a fill port in small hatch. Normally you would get an Extend-a-stay kit. If your tank is in center of coach don't know how the kit would work. The full kit Comes with both a 10' Tank to grill hose (The Grill end has the same fitting as the top of a "Throw-away" bottle as does the OUT port on the "X" fitting) And a 5' "Tank to RV" hose that fits the inlet port on the "X" adapter. The inlet has a small (about a quarter inch) brass threaded hole. One of the first "modifications" I made to my RV 15 years ago and used both of the extra fittings (Grill side and external tank side) Check valves protect you from many "Oh ****!"s that can happen. This is my high pressure adapter with a El (for hose routing considerations) and a shutoff valve. The top external tank port is for an additional external tank. The BBQ connector is the standard 1lb 1" screw on propane bottle type. Low pressure propane fittings are common on RVs and you may need to remove the BBQ regulator as the use of 2 regulators may give inconsistent propane pressure. Click For Full-Size Image. Hoses with the standard 1” screw on adapters are available. And an adapter for the standard BBQ regulator fitting are available. Propane stores can also make custom length hoses however I use 1 or 2 12' hoses as needed. The hoses would have to stay in place. Installation would have to be done so has to protect them. donut dave • View posts Burnett WI Senior Member Joined: 12/21/2005 View Profile Offline Posted: 02/16/21 12:25pm Link  |  Quote  |  Print  |  Notify Moderator I changed out one of my 30 lb hoses to a 5 footer. when i want to attach it to my 100 lb tank i just unscrew the green coupler and screw it onto the big tank. i got the 5 footer with the green hose as it more flexible during cold weather where as the black hose is stiff. and it is easy to wind up when using the 30 pounder.
