I have been thinking about doing this and when I saw This post

First I had to find a place to put it,my thought was to come in under the front dinette seat where my freshwater tank is,I decided to get the AC Port Plug, With the 12foot extension that would give me access to most of the floor plan for what ever I wanted to use.The first step was cut the hole in the proper place.

To do this I had to have the right Hole Saw with the correct depth.
The finished product came out pretty nice.

Inside it is hidden under the dinette seat and I can pull it out when needed

Yes you do, that is the way they are made, with a female end at the end of the extension cord inside.

What is the gauge of the 12' extension cord?? If you are using for a heater it should be 12 gauge, as your first protection is the 20 amp breaker on the pedestal.

Otherwise nice job.

Hi,

I simply added a 20 amp and a 15 amp cord that comes in through the "mouse hole".

I added two outlets in the power distribution center, and added a male plug to the water heater. The converter already had a male plug.

I added outlets on each side of the bed.

When there is 50 amp power--I use my break out box and have 30 amp with breaker on one leg, and 2 twenty amp breakers on the other leg.

I find it extremely convenient.
Regards, Don
