BTW, we're due for our second next Wed, Pfizer variety.

Hey! - next Wednesday is Moderna #2 for us! I'll think happy thoughts for all of us! I've already stocked up with soup, in case we have a "blah" day...LOL!

Got the #1 jab of Pfizer yesterday. I had no idea which one I'd get when I showed up, but then again I really didn't care. So far no issues. Arm is a little bit sore but no worse really than a regular flu shot.

My first Moderna shot gave me sore arm for a few hours. The second made me tired with a low fever and felt crappy for 48 hours. My wife had no problems except sore arms on both occasions. She had Moderna vaccine as well.

I'm either lucky or just use to needles.......
No side effects from 1st Moderna 6 days ago

Never have had any adverse reactions to any shots except that one time in Boot Camp when the Corpsman gave me multiple shots cause he thought the airgun was messing up [emoticon]

Is it time for your medication or mine?

I have a sore arm today after yesterday’s 1st dose of Moderna’s vaccine; it is no different than after I get a flu vaccine.

Absolutely! People running the site did a great job. I went to a drive through clinic and it ran like clockwork. There were a lot of cars but things moved along quite quickly. I was out in under an hour with an appointment for my second dose.

I also signed up for the CDC's V-safe program. They send you a text with a link to a website where they give you a list of possible side effects that you can select if you've had them. During the first week you get a text every day and then once a week for the next 5 weeks. Seems like a good way to get feedback on any reactions to the vaccines.

My daughter in-law, in her late 30s is getting her first vaccination this Saturday..

A niece-in-law also at about the same age got hers last week.

Both are teachers and this must be in preparation for school opening.

Or, the government is beginning to go down to next priority tier as it exceed their vaccine supplies and vaccination goals.

Are we just a healthy bunch around here or just plain lucky?

We have good batting average so far, and hope it stays that way, of mild side effects whether on the 1st or 2nd dose.
