My niece's father has been in the ICU with Covid, for over a month. He's not on a ventilator - has managed to avoid that. I can't imagine what the recovery will be like for him. Whatever side effects come from getting vaccinated - it still beats getting Covid....

Wife and I both had are 2nd shots " Pfizer " yesterday and only suffered sore shoulders as a side effect.

It's done wonders for our confidence as we feel like eating out again and mingling.....but being wise and also respectful to others by wearing masks and using hand sanitizer.

I'll keep reporting on the SINOVAC immunization...
Day 6 Fever gone
Tiredness and sleepiness remain.

Definition of my "sleepiness"
16 hours per day.
Rode north with a friend. Slept most of the way. Fell asleep in wheelchair in waiting room. Slept most of the way home. Had 9 hours sleep the day before.

I haven't regained initiative to do small projects. Bed looks so good [emoticon]

When this goes away I'll post again.

Five days out from the 2nd Moderna shot, I feel fine but, I’ll second the fatigue and sleepiness. Word on the street is this will clear up in a couple of weeks.

Keeping you in good humor -- but you just won the worst side effects of 2nd dose of the vaccine (any vaccine).

Seriously thoough, I hope you are well by now.

1° vaccination.
2° comes post 15 May.
The Chinese vaccine is unique. Killed virus not an analog.
Yesterday: 14 hours sleep. I drank 2 cups of Starbucks French Roast then immediately fell asleep for 4 hours. Awakened, put on my CPAP mask then went down for another six.
But the fever is <100F from 2PM to 7PM
It may be futile but I am taking lots of vitamins C and A

Me and my wife had our second shot over a month ago (we are seniors). I had no reaction to either but my wife had some severe side effects that she is still suffering from. She developed a bad rash all over her body. Later her skin hardened up and started peeling off. Poor girl has been miserable. Doctors have been treating it with meds to make her more comfortable but don't have treatments to prevent or stop it. Apparently this is a very rare side effect that only a handful of people have experienced. They have documented her symptoms and sent it to the appropriate authorities that oversee covid-19 vaccine issues. Thank goodness only a few people have suffered this side effect.

I have had both Moderna with no side effects at all, other than site soreness from having my muscle punctured by a needle.
